A WINE bar in Charminster could be subject to a licence review following concerns raised by police.
Dorset Police has applied to BCP Council for a review of the premises licence at Havana in Charminster Road.
The force does not consider the venue to be promoting the licensing objective of the prevention of crime and disorder, and has submitted the application under Section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003.
The application is now open for public consultation, and is available to view on BCP Council’s website.
Representations should be made in writing to BCP Council’s Licensing Team by Thursday, October 24.
Havana is a wine bar located at 61 Charminster Road, which describes itself as having a ‘constantly buzzing atmosphere’ and a ‘layout with a speck of originality’.
