CHRISTMAS is just around the corner for Swanage with the dates for some of the town’s key events announced.
Swanage Railway’s popular Polar Express train ride will return from November 23 and run until December 30.
Father Christmas will join his reindeer and donkeys on the pier along with live music and entertainment from December 6 to 23.
Throughout December, there will also be a Crazy Christmas Activity Trail, a children’s drawing workshop, glass engraving and wild crafts drop in at Durlston Country Park.
And every weekend between November 30 and January 1, unique hand-crafted items will be for sale by Dorset-based crafters from Swanage’s beach huts.
The town’s Christmas lights switch on will be held on Saturday, November 30 between 3pm and 4.30pm.
And the traditional Christmas markets run by the Rotary club from December 7.
Swanage Town Council said: “Whatever you choose, you can be assured that you’ll have a great day out.”
