THE wait is finally over. The winner of the Daily Echo Beauty Therapist of the Year competition can now be revealed.
Callie Ann Lashes and Brows situated at 18 Woodside Road in Bournemouth has come out on top after readers voted in their droves for their favourite beauty salon across the area.
Daily Echo editor James Johnson said: "There was a very high level of competition in these entries and we are proud to announce Callie Ann Lashes and Brows as our winner.
"A huge number of votes were cast this year and I would like to thank everyone who got involved in the competition.
"Congratulations to the winners, as well as everyone who entered and voted."
Hundreds of votes were cast in the competition as the Daily Echo sought to find the top beauty salon in the area as chosen by readers.
Readers were initially invited to vote for their favourite salon with more than 460 responses received.
After sifting through the plethora of nominations, a shortlist was then drawn up of the 10 businesses that were mentioned the most by readers.
Nominations were cast by a coupon in the paper and also via an online voting form on the Bournemouth Echo website.
Following this, a coupon featuring a list of the top 10 salons was published in the paper with readers then invited to vote for their favourite.
The 2024 runners up who shone with the highest volume of nominations should also be incredibly proud of themselves and included The Salon in Ringwood, Claire’s Cabin Nails and Beauty in Highcliffe and Classic Beauty Boutique in Southbourne.
BH7 Beauty in Bournemouth, B'Beautiful Salon in Ringwood Road, Silver Lining Beauty by Maz in Poole, Inspired Nails in Bournemouth, Holmes of Beauty in Wimborne Road and South Coast Beauty in Bournemouth also made the final cut.
The postal coupons were then counted up with Callie Ann Lashes and Brows
taking the title of Daily Echo Beauty Therapist of the Year.
