Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

Rosie
Gender - Female
Age - Four years old
Breed - American Bulldog
Colour - Black and White

Rosie is described as a "large, affectionate dog with a heart full of love" and is looking to find her forever home.
She can find life a bit worrying at times and may be vocal when startled by unfamiliar people or dogs.
However, once she gets to know you and other dogs, she becomes friendly and calm.
Rosie is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she will be the only pet.
Her new caregivers should be patient, calm, and ideally experienced with larger breeds.
Gizmo and Sparkles
Gender - Female
Age - Eight years old (Gizmo) and 11 years old (Sparkles)
Breed - Domestic Longhair crossbreed
Colour - Tortoiseshell/White (Gizmo) and Tortoiseshell (Sparkles)

Gizmo and Sparkles are a "beautiful pair of cats" looking for their home together.
They both love fuss and attention and will come over to see you
Due to their long fur, they will need regular grooming to keep their coats in good condition.
Sparkles is a little more wary of being groomed than Gizmo but is slowly coming around to enjoying it.
They can live with children of secondary school age who are calm around cats and ideally should be the only pets in the home.
Ebony
Gender - Female
Age - 16 years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Ebony is described as a "goldie oldie" who's looking to find a retirement home.
You can usually find her snoozing in her yard on her chair, enjoying the sunshine.
She doesn't like to be picked up, but she will jump on your lap to cuddle on her own terms.
Being an older cat Ebony does have some suspected arthritis in her hind legs, but is still active and is not in need of medication at this time.
Iris
Gender - Female
Age - Two years old
Breed - Domestic
Colour - White, Brown and Tan

Iris is a rabbit who is happy to have some fuss on her own terms and enjoys a groom.
She can be protective of her enclosure and does like to have her own space.
The RSPCA is looking to house her with a male companion so they will need separate accommodation to start while they are in the bonding process.

Dumpling
Gender - Female
Age - Three years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Tortoiseshell/White

Dumpling is a cat who is a little nervous and sensitive to noises so will need time and patience from her new owner.
She is growing in confidence and once she gets to know you she likes to take treats from your hand, and will let you give her a little head rub.
Dumpling is a bit of a wanderer and will need plenty of time to settle in her new home before going outside to explore.
Additionally, she is not to be rehomed within five miles of the BH12 postcode. She can live with children over the age of 13 or another friendly cat.
