A SCHOOL in north Dorset will host a firework display next month.

The Blandford School is holding a firework extravaganza on Friday, November 8.

Gates open at 6pm and the fireworks display will begin at 7.15pm.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a range of food and drink from Dorset Food Company, The Box Pizza, Willows Coffee & More and Flo & Frankie's Fudge.

There will also be an ice-cream van, donuts, hotdogs and a bar hosted by the Friends of The Blandford School library.

Tickets are on sale now for the event priced at £8 each for adults.

Entry for school aged children costs £4.50 each, meanwhile a family of four (comprising two adults and two children) will pay £22 to attend.

Tickets are available from Sweetpea Florist and Ruby’s Salon with both venues accepting cash payment only.

People can also purchase tickets from The Blandford School’s reception in Milldown Road, Blandford Forum, via card or cash payment.
