A CRASH between two cars is causing long delays on a busy dual carriageway.
Officers were alerted to reports of a crash at around 2pm today (October 5).
There is currently a queue of traffic on the westbound side of the A31.
Delays are continuing at Stoney Cross and are heading towards Ringwood.
One lane of two remains shut from the M27 westbound onwards. and there are delays of 30 minutes.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "We were called at 1.43am today to reports of a collision on the A31 between Picket Post and Picket Hill between a Mercedes and a BMW.
"Minor injuries were reported."
Contractors from National Highways are completing barrier repairs.
