CAR parks in Purbeck are to close for a few days this October to make for ‘Netflix filming’.
The car parks at Durdle Door and Man O’ War Beach will be closed to the public on October 11, 12 and 16.
It’s understood filming will be taking place in the area for an upcoming Netflix show, although this has been unconfirmed.
A spokesman for Lulworth Estate said: “Please be advised that Durdle Door Beach, Man O’ War Beach and Durdle Door Car Park are closed on the Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Wednesday 16 October 2024.
“Lulworth Cove and car park remain open on these dates. Our team at the Heritage Centre and Holiday Park are happy to help with advice on access and alternative places to visit.”
Lulworth’s rangers added Lulworth Range walks between the cove and Kimmeridge Bay will also be closed over the weekend of October 12 and 13.
"Please make alternative plans for your weekend hikes,” the rangers said.
Last summer, Durdle Door was closed to the public while Netflix was filming its show The Sandman on the beach.
The Sandman is an American fantasy drama television series based on the 1989–1996 comic book written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC Comics.
