A HOLIDAY and cruise show held at Bournemouth Pavilion has been hailed as a huge success with record attendance. 

Fred Olsen Travel’s Bournemouth Holiday and Cruise Show showcased 38 of the country’s best holiday and cruise operators who were there to promote their range of products and special offers. 

Customers were also treated to interesting presentations from leading cruise lines Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, P&O Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises and HX Expeditions. 

A 15-strong team from Fred Olsen Travel was also in attendance to help visitors with their holiday enquiries, with a number of bookings made on the day and lots of holiday and cruise enquiries in the pipeline. 

To get them in the holiday spirit, visitors to the show were greeted by a steel band with further entertainment provided by three-part harmony group Sodapops. 

Paul Hardwick, Fred Olsen Travel’s director of retail, said: “It was great to hold another fantastic event at such a prestigious venue as the Pavilion theatre in Bournemouth.  

“There was such a buzz from suppliers and customers alike on the day and we have so many great enquiries to work on over the coming days and weeks.  

“I cannot wait to start planning for an even bigger and better event in 2025.”
