HUNDREDS of pounds worth of scratchcards have been snatched from stores in Ringwood.
The shopliftings reportedly occurred between 12.25pm and 5.25pm on Saturday, October 12.
In total, £40 worth of scratchcards were reported stolen from Lunns of Ringwood in Christchurch Road, £100 worth of scratchcards and £4 worth of lottery tickets were reported stolen from Central Stores in Southampton Road and £100 worth of scratchcards were reported stolen from Tesco Express in Butlers Lane.
There was also an attempt theft of scratchcards at Waitrose in The Furlong.
Police have now released CCCV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.
He is described as white, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, approximately 30 years of age, and wearing a black beanie hat, grey tracksuit bottoms and jacket.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
"Also, if you witnessed anything of any of these incidents, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us."
