THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
KRYSTIAN BINKOWSKI, 37 and of Burlington Road in Swanage, admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 3.3 micrograms of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) per litre of blood, in Barlby Road in North Yorkshire on March 29. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £540 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
HEIDI JOHNSON, 43 and of Mandale Close in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 9.8ugl of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, in Ringwood Road in Poole on June 8. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £45 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
JASHAR KOVACAJ, 33 and of Princes Street in Mansfield, admitted driving while disqualified, using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Hinton Road in Bournemouth on August 15. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months. He was also fined £400, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £160 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
RICHARD POWELL, 38 and of West Overcliff Drive in Bournemouth, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle dangerously on the A35 Upton Bypass in Poole on June 25, 2023. He admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 14 micrograms of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood, on the A35 Upton Bypass in Poole on June 25. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, in Poole on June 25. He was handed a 20 week prison sentence suspended for two years, and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also to pay a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £650 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ARCHIE MCCANN, 18 and of Frobisher Avenue in Poole, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a youth rehabilitation order made by Poole Youth Court. He was fined £40.
DANNY BIRD, 32 and of Hobbs Road in Poole, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £60.
REECE PETTITT, 27 and of Carlton Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay costs of £60.
DEXTER ROBINSON, 21 and of Ash Grove in Ringwood, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates’ Court. The community order was varied to contain new requirements, including 90 hours of unpaid work.
MILES MADDOCK, 21 and of Briar Close of Christchurch, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Poole Magistrates’ Court. The suspended sentence order was varied to become a prison term of six months suspended for two years and contain new requirements.
