A WOMAN has appeared in court following a spree of shopliftings in Poole.
Tara Anderson, 37, was charged with 26 counts of theft from a shop after she stole hundreds of pounds worth of items.
23 of the charges related to thefts from the Co-op in Poole Road, but Anderson also stole from Greggs and the Co-op in Blandford Road.
Her offending spanned a six-week period, running from April 28 to June 9 this year.
Anderson, of Blandford Road in Poole, admitted all the charges against her and was sentenced at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, October 17.
The defendant was handed an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and banned from entering any Co-op store in Poole for 12 months.
She was also ordered to pay £500 compensation.
