A POPULAR nightclub from the 90s will make a comeback – for one day only.
The Zoo & Cage will return to its former home on Saturday, November 16.
The pop-up party, for those aged 30 and over, will see the original team behind the famous club take over the very same site, now Cameo in Fir Vale Road.
Marc Fear, venue manager of Cameo Bournemouth, said: “Over the years we’ve spoken about the possibility of creating a Zoo & Cage reunion, and now feels the right time to do it.
“We’re bringing back the original DJs, 90s clubbing classics, atmosphere and people; only this time, we’re doing it as a day party so no late night.
“Those who used to join us at Zoo & Cage will know that they’re in for one hell of a party, and we can’t wait to welcome the original party lovers.”
From 3pm and 8pm, revellers can expect plenty of throwbacks, with original DJs, Rob Searle, Mark Hatton and Martyn the Hat on the line-up with even more to be added.
The return of Zoo & Cage is guaranteed to bring back memories and even the signage and décor will look familiar.
Zoo & Cage opened in 1991 and was a mainstay in the Bournemouth night-time scene for nearly 10 years.
Since 2014, it’s been the home of Cameo Bournemouth.
