A BOURNEMOUTH bar and restaurant has lined up a week of special events to mark Day of the Dead.
Ojo Rojo in Commercial Road will be hosting ‘Week of the Dead’, running from Tuesday, October 29, to Saturday, November 2.
Inspired by the traditional Mexican holiday, Día de los Muertos, the week promises a vibrant line-up of events, lively music, and themed activities that bring the spirit of Mexico to Bournemouth.
Highlights of the week include 25 per cent off tacos on the Tuesday, a Halloween-themed quiz on Wednesday, a Dos Dedos Bar Takeover with discounts and surprises on Thursday, and a performance by Mariachi Wey band on Friday.
Rhythm Social on Saturday will end the celebrations, with DJs, fancy dress prizes, and a spirits tasting.
Throughout the week, guests can also enjoy Day of the Dead cocktail specials for just £10, available daily.
A spokesperson for Ojo Rojo said: “With free entry to all events, we encourage you to book now to secure your spot and soak up the festive atmosphere, lively music, and authentic Mexican flavours.
"Whether you come for the culture, the cocktails, or the camaraderie, there’s plenty to celebrate.”
