TWO new outdoor saunas have opened to the public in Christchurch.
Saltwater Sauna officially launched at Avon Beach on Monday, October 14.
The new facility features two contemporary Nordic saunas and a spacious changing room - and will soon get a beach shower.
Its users can enjoy panoramic views across to the Isle of Wight, and an optional sea plunge to cool down.
Earlier this year, Saltwater Sauna won two awards at the UK Sauna Industry Awards; its resident sauna master and contrast therapist, Jane Witt, the UK’s first-ever thermalist instructor, won 'Sauna Practitioner of the Year', and the company won 'Best Design' for its saunas.
As well as this, the company launched its first-ever Wellbeing Retreat to Helsinki, Finland next February, which sold out within days.
