A CARE home in St Leonards has taken part in a sponsored walk to raise money for West Moors Dementia Action Group.
Residents and staff at Moors Manor Care Home decided to walk the equivalent of The Three Peeks Challenge - an impressive 23 miles.
They did loops of the garden to clock up the distance, with relatives there to cheer them on.
Gemma Chalkley, general manager at Moors Manor Care Home, said: “Taking part in this challenge has been a huge amount of fun and everyone at the home has been behind us all the way.
"It’s for such an important cause. I’m very glad to be able to do my bit to raise further awareness and money for the charity.”
Moors Manor raised a grand total of £150.80 by completing the challenge, which will be donated to West Moors Dementia Action Group.
