TOPS Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team have hosted their annual awards night with an enchanting ‘under the sea’ theme.
The event was a celebration of the work and dedication of staff across the Tops and Aspire family.
It was held at the Lighthouse in Poole, which had been transformed into a 'magical' under-the-sea wonderland complete with ocean-themed décor.
Catering for the evening was handled by the Tops Day Nurseries catering team, offer-ing a three-course meal.
The evening began with a performance by Tanya, an opera singer who works for Tops Day Nurseries.
Following this, the awards ceremony took centre stage, honouring the achievements of nurseries, colleagues and partners across Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team.
Awards were presented in various categories, recognising individuals from apprentices to the senior leadership team, highlighting those who have gone above and beyond in their roles over the past year.
The Aspire Training Team also celebrated key achievements, acknowledging both learners and team members who have excelled in delivering training, developing skills, and supporting growth in the early years sector.
Tops and Aspire also ran two raffles during the evening – one to celebrate the long ser-vice club partners - those who have worked for more than five years for the companies - and an all-staff raffle.
The prizes were generously donated by our suppliers and brought something extra-special to the evening, with one partner winning a £250 voucher for Virgin Experience Days.
After the awards, the festivities continued with a DJ, dancing and a photo booth, allowing everyone to celebrate and capture the night’s successes in style.
Charli, the event organiser, said: “Each awards night is a testament to the dedication of the Tops and Aspire teams, as a committee of volunteers support the organisation of the awards alongside their daily roles, to make the evening exceptional for all attendees.
"Each year we try to improve based on feedback we receive, and this year was our biggest and best so far. Watch this space as plans are already in motion for 2025.”
