AN AESTHETICS salon run by two former nurses in Bournemouth is the Daily Echo’s Trader of the Week.
Angel Face Salon is part of beauty conglomerate Angel Face Aesthetics, co-owned by Annika Maskell and Laura Stanley with studios across Dorset and Hampshire.
Annika and Laura worked at the Acute Medical Unit at Salisbury Hospital where they discovered a love for aesthetics.
Now, a new salon has opened in Moordown that offers services such as advanced dermal filler to medical grade skin treatments.
Laura said: “As experienced registered nurses, we are proud to bring a unique combination of medical aesthetics, alongside a full range of hair and beauty treatments, to the local area.
“Angel Face Salon is where cutting-edge care meets luxury beauty.
"With nearly ten years combined nursing experience working in an acute medial unit we have the skills and knowledge to ensure a safe and reliable experience.
“Together we have built Angel Face into a trusted and professional business while both working as full time nurses, at all times prioritising our clients safety.
“By continuing to work as nurses we ensure our practice skills and development continue to grow and positively impact the safety of our clients.”
The salon has relocated from its former premises in Westover Road.
Laura added: “We decided to move to Moordown because it is safer than Bournemouth. We were next to a pub and clients used to have to walk through the gardens late at night after their appointment which I hated.
“It’s also nice to be among other salons in Moordown and the accessibility is a bonus for our clients."
On social media, the aesthetics duo announced the opening of the new salon, saying: “We are beyond excited to announce that we’re officially open and can’t wait to welcome all of you angels.
“We’ve poured our hearts into creating something truly special, and we just know you’re going to love it as much as we do.”
Angel Face Aesthetics has studios in Southampton, Bournemouth, Sandbanks and opened its Moordown salon earlier in October.
A grand opening event for the salon will be held on November 2 at the new salon in Wimborne Road.
