RINGWOOD is gearing up for its firework extravaganza.
The spectacle takes place at Carvers Recreation Ground on Sunday, November 3.
It will feature two fireworks displays, a fairground, children’s circus workshops, fire shows and live music from Swing Unlimited Big Band.
This year organisers have introduced an online-only ticketing system and tickets must be purchased online.
Advance tickets are £3.50 until Sunday, October 27, with tickets after this date priced at £5.
Entry is free for pre-schoolers and people with disabilities.
Cllr Rae Frederick, chair of the events committee and town mayor, said: “This is always a highlight of the Ringwood calendar.
“Our new online ticketing system will make it easier and safer for everyone to enjoy the event, and we’re so grateful for the ongoing support of our headline sponsor, Fretten’s Solicitors, as well as Oak Mount Care and the many local charities and volunteers who help us make this possible.”
On the day, gates will open at 3pm for the fairground, children’s entertainment and a wide range of food and drink stalls.
A quieter ‘low bangs’ display will take place at 5.30pm, followed by a performance by the Swing Unlimited Big Band at 6pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm, followed by a main fireworks display at 7pm.
