‘DISCO queen’ Sophie Ellis-Bextor has announced a Bournemouth date as part of her biggest ever UK tour.
Sophie, who is best known for hits including Murder on the Dancefloor, Take Me Home and Get Over You, will perform at the BIC on Thursday, June 5, next year.
Her latest single, Freedom of the Night, has just been released.
She said: “This year has been full of amazing tour dates around the world, and it has been so much fun.
“I absolutely love performing live, but it’s always an extra treat to be able to tour at home and I can’t wait to play my biggest dates in the UK yet next May and June. It will be wonderful to bring the disco fun to everyone.”
Kicking off in Glasgow, the tour will take in 15 towns and cities including Manchester, Newcastle, Cardiff and Bristol, the culminates at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Tickets are available to purchase via artist and O2 presale at 9am on Wednesday, October 30, Ticketmaster and venue presale at 9am on Thursday, October 31 and on general sale at 9am on Friday, November 1.
