TAKE a look at the newly renovated Westbourne pub following its six-figure makeover.
The Libertine in Alumhurst Road has undergone a complete transformation after eight weeks of renovations to create a "space for everyone".
Owned by Young's & Co Brewery, the large traditional pub boasts newly installed fireplaces, cosy nooks and a rustic function space.
Laura Read, the area sales and marketing manager for Young's Pubs, said: "When we took over the pub last year, we noticed a split between the dining area and the bar.
"So, we have given it a freshen-up and made it into a proper pub where everyone feels welcome.
"There are lots of heritage features, panelling a nice big bar, cosy spaces and places for celebrations and special occasions."
Artwork and pictures of Dorset scenery are scattered around the pub, incorporated with traditional pieces in gold and wooden frames.
The venue is adorned with Persian rugs, intricate lampshades, plush seating and autumnal table décor.
Guests can choose to sit in multiple spots throughout the pub, including three outside seating areas.
Laura said: "We have covered areas and a terrace that's quite the suntrap.
"There are plenty of individual outside spaces, whether people want a quiet spot to watch the world go by or enjoy a conversation with friends."
The pub had a soft opening on October 24, inviting people to get a first glimpse of the venue.
After being closed for three weeks, pubgoers can visit the newly renovated spot at its grand opening on October 31.
"The grand opening is going to be a proper knees up," Laura said.
"People can come along and enjoy music from a brass band which will be playing from 6pm."
In addition to a lick of paint, the pub has also introduced a new menu featuring "proper pub classics, with a twist".
The pub will offer a mix of bar and table service and an app so people can order from their seats.
Laura added: "We are really excited to open and I think the people of Westbourne will be very impressed with our new pub."
