A POOLE cruise company has announced the takeover of another competing group in the area.

Coastal Cruises operates from the heart of Poole and has now taken over the City Cruises Poole operation.

Carol Scott, owner and director of Coastal Cruises Poole Ltd, previously operated a fleet of boats in Torbay before working for Blue Line Cruises Limited as marketing manager.

She then moved to City Cruises UK group as a regional director.

The new takeover announcement means the company will remain with the same boat trips, staff and crew but operating as a family business.

Coastal Cruises will also be offering the boats for private charters for corporate events, family get togethers, birthdays, weddings and much more
