AS SPOOKY season approaches, residents are transforming their homes into haunted houses and filling the streets with ghoulish displays.
From eerie lights and creepy creatures to pumpkin-filled porches, the Halloween spirit is in full swing across the community.
One pub in particular, the White Hart in Wimborne, has gone all out this Halloween by creating its very own scare room in the pub cellar.
Pub landlord Chris Jameson said: “The pub is over 400 years old. People used to store bodies in the cellar hundreds of years ago and take them to the minster, so there’s a lot of eerie history to the pub.”
The pub is decked with scarecrows, cobwebs and dolls, accompanied by sinister music that enhances the chilling atmosphere.
