ORGANISERS of a craft fair are ‘delighted’ after this year's event raised £440 for charity.
The Wimborne Rotary Craft Fair, held in the Allendale Centre in Wimborne, raised funds for Rotary supported charities.
Some 20 stall holders presented a range of crafts and interests with appreciative visitors attending throughout the day.
Entrance was free of charge to the public, who were invited to donate to Rotary charities on leaving.
Organiser of the craft fair, Rotarian Chris Mogg, said: “We were delighted with the support from the crafting community and equally pleased to welcome so many interested members of the public.
“We plan to run the fair again next year, and the monies received from this year’s event will be used to benefit Rotary supported charities."
The Allendale Centre in Wimborne will also become host to a Christmas Food Fair on Saturday, December 7.
