LOST loved ones will be remembered at a special candlelit event at Bournemouth Pier Approach.
Bereaved relatives and friends are invited to attend University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity’s Light Up the Prom on Friday, November 8, at 7pm.
Everyone who donates and attends can receive an LED candle to light.
Every donation to Light Up the Prom celebrates a loved one’s legacy by supporting University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity.
This will enhance services for patients and their families across the Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Hospitals now and in the future.
University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity corporate fundraiser Hayley Harris said: “There will be a candlelight service with beautiful songs from an amazing local choir, followed by some stunning fireworks overlooking the pier and the bay.”
The event is being sponsored by Coles Miller Solicitors.
Coles Miller managing partner Adrian Cormack said: “As solicitors and long-standing members of the community, we regularly help clients who’ve recently lost loved ones.
“So we know how important Light Up the Prom is, how much comfort it brings to all those who take part, and how it inspires those unable to attend to add their support too.
“We’re very proud to sponsor Light Up the Prom and highlight the excellent work done by University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity.”
