A FREE debt advice service has been helping people with their finances in East Dorset for a decade.
Christian’s Against Poverty’s (CAP) East Dorset team has celebrated 10 years of the East Dorset Debt Centre, which launched in 2014.
Supported by local churches, the debt centre offers free debt advice and money coaching sessions to help people gain new budgeting skills.
Pam Ansell, East Dorset’s Debt Centre manager, said: “We are celebrating every single one of the amazing people we have helped out of debt in East Dorset, Ringwood and Bearwood over the last 10 years.
“We want to give huge praise to everyone in debt who has contacted us for help, worked with our team, and are now debt free or making progress towards achieving that aim."
East Dorset Debt Centre will also be running money coaching sessions in Ferndown.
Pam added: “The course is completely free and will run at Hope Church in Ferndown. There’s something for everyone to learn – from those who have never used a budget before to those who simply want to re-evaluate their financial situation. All are welcome.”
Money coaching will take place from 10am-12pm across three mornings: November 13, November 20 and December 4.
