FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene of a car fire in Bournemouth.
DWFRS were alerted to reports of a car on fire at around 8am this morning (November 2) on Castle Road.
A crew from Redhill Fire Station were deployed to the incident.
On arrival, it was found that heat was radiating from the vehicle brakes.
A spokesperson for DWFRS said: "We were mobilised to reports of a car on fire in Castle Rd, Bournemouth.
"Crews got in attendance and investigated and found this to be heat radiating from vehicle brakes.
"Crews cooled the brakes with 1 hose reel jet and monitored the vehicle."
