A NEW nursery has launched at an independent school in Bournemouth.

Talbot Heath Nursery, at Talbot Heath School, will begin welcoming girls from age two in January 2025.

Located within the school’s own forest site in Talbot Woods, the nursery offers a unique, home-from-home environment, as well as Forest School sessions every Friday.

Liz Pugh, head of Junior School, said: “We are thrilled to be launching Talbot Heath Nursery, where our youngest learners will benefit from an enriching, supportive, and engaging early years education.

“Our focus on child-led learning, outdoor exploration, and values-based education ensures that every child flourishes both academically and emotionally.”

Running alongside the new nursery is the school’s highly popular family and toddler group, Honey Bees.

The group welcomes babies and children up to four years old, and runs on Fridays during term time.

Families interested in visiting Talbot Heath Nursery or learning more are invited to contact admissions officer Kay Guest via Talbot Heath School’s website.
