A DORSET resident spent her milestone birthday in style with a special trip to a newly-opened restaurant.
Ivy Anderson celebrated her 100th birthday by visiting The Ivy in Bournemouth on its opening day.
The birthday girl enjoyed the day with her friends Christine Arnold and Naomi Cleaver on November 12.
The trio spent the morning enjoying brunch before being treated to a bottle of rose from the Ivy team.
Ivy said she’s ‘never been wished so many happy returns and was thrilled with the surprise birthday choux pastry and bottle of rose from the Ivy team who looked after us so very try well.’
The event was a birthday to remember and served as a ‘thank you’ to Bournemouth resident Christine Arnold who hosted the memorial day.
More than 12,000 bookings have been made for The Ivy from the opening on November 12 to February 12.
