AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a woman was hospitalised following a fail-to-stop crash in Bournemouth.
Officers were alerted to reports of a crash on the Mountbatten Roundabout at around 7pm on November 14.
A woman was treated by the ambulance service and hospitalised for injuries that are not believed to be serious.
Now, the regional force have launched an investigation into the incident.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 7.23pm on Thursday 14 November 2024 of a collision on Wallisdown Road, near to the Mountbatten Roundabout, involving a vehicle and a woman who was pushing an electric scooter.
"The woman was treated by the ambulance service for injuries that were not believed to be serious and it was reported that the vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 19:32hrs on Thursday 14 November to an incident in Bournemouth.
"We sent one double-crewed ambulance to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole County Hospital.”
