A PROPERTY has been forced to close after reports of 'persistent anti-social behaviour'.
A three-month long closure order has been granted for 4 Teal Close in Bournemouth.
The order was sought by BCP Council under section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, and was granted by Poole Magistrates' Court on Thursday, November 14.
The local authority had served a closure notice to the property earlier this month.
Cllr Kieron Wilson, portfolio holder for housing and regulatory services at BCP Council, said: “BCP Council’s anti-social behaviour team has been working in partnership with Dorset Police and other key agencies to successfully secure a partial closure order at 4 Teal Close.
“This closure order restricts access to the property following reports of persistent anti-social behaviour.
“This action was taken as part of BCP Council’s commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the community.”
