A LUXURY homes developer has launched a collection of affordable homes which are now available through Dorset Council.
Pennyfarthing Homes has launched the one and two bedroom apartments at Oakwood Grove in Alderholt.
The homes were released to prospective buyers between November 15 and 17 and are available to essential workers at a 30 per cent discount off market value, offering them the chance to take their first step on the property ladder.
The scheme is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
Sheetal Smith, sales and marketing director at Pennyfarthing Homes, said: “We are committed to supporting customers through their journey to homeownership. In today’s market, and especially with the recent news of stamp duty relief going for first time buyers early next year, buying a home will feel out of reach for many.
“We are delighted to be able to offer these first homes to essential workers with an initiative that will help make dreams become a reality.
“Our sales team is dedicated to providing guidance and reassurance every step of the way, ensuring a smooth, seamless experience through the First Homes scheme.”
Alderholt Recreation Ground also has a range of facilities including a children’s play area, a multi-use sports court, a youth shelter, tennis courts, sports pitches and a sports and social club.
