A TONNE of paper on fire brought disruption to motorists' morning commute.
Firefighters were called to tackle a small lorry fire in Wallisdown Road, on the Poole side, at around 9.30am on Tuesday, November 19.
Two fire engines were called to the fire and they had left around half an hour later.
A spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 9.24am today with reports of a large vehicle fire on Wallisdown Road, Poole.
“Two fire engines were mobilised from Redhill Park and Westbourne, and on arrival found a small fire involving approximately one tonne of paper inside a lorry.
“One firefighter in breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and our stop was at 10.03am.”
Morebus said its 425 service was delayed by around 25 minutes due to traffic in Wallisdown Road tailing back from Mountbatten roundabout.
