Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.
A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Barkley
Gender - Male
Age - Three to six months old
Breed - Poodle (Toy) crossbreed
Colour - Brown/Orange
If you want to adopt Barkley you can view their full profile here.
Barkley came into the care of the RSPCA after being rescued from a multi-dog household.
It is unlikely he had spent much time outside of the home and may have missed out on socialising.
As a result, he can be a little reserved and unsure at times, so he would like a home where he could gain some confidence.
The RSPCA adds: "Barkley has limited experience of children prior to arrival but after assessment here we feel he may be ok to live with dog-confident children 11 years plus."
After introductions at the centre, he could live with another confident dog.
Finally, it is felt at this stage that Barkley will require company throughout the day to help him settle into a new routine and complete any further housetraining.
Odie
Gender - Male
Age - Five years old
Breed - Whippet
Colour - Black
If you want to adopt Odie you can view their full profile here.
Odie is described as a "sweet but sensitive soul" who came into the care of the RSPCA from a multi-dog household.
He is looking for a quiet and predictable home with adopters committed to taking his new journey forward with patience.
Odie has been friendly with other dogs at the centre but the RSPCA are looking to rehome him as an only pet.
Due to his limited experience with children in the past, any children living in or visiting the home should be older teenagers (16 years or older).
The RSPCA adds: "Due to requiring support resettling into a new home and routine, initially we would be looking for Odie to have company for most of the day initially and have access to a garden to enjoy some safe off lead time whilst he learns life is not too scary."
Archie
Gender - Male
Age - Two years old
Breed - Whippet
Colour - Blue
If you want to adopt Archie you can view their full profile here.
Archie is a "playful and inquisitive" dog who does not have much experience in the real world due to coming from a multi-dog household.
He would like a quiet and predictable home with adopters committed to taking his new journey forward with patience.
The RSPCA adds: "We would consider Archie living with another confident, neutered female of similar size, after introductions at the centre."
They continued: " Due to limited experience with children in the past, any children living in or visiting the home should be age teenage+".
Coco
Gender - Female
Age - Six to 12 months old
Breed - Domestic Longhair crossbreed
Colour - Black and White
If you want to adopt Coco you can view their full profile here.
Coco is a "gentle" and "affectionate" cat who loves people and is looking to find a new home.
She has "lovely soft fur" which will need grooming to keep her coat in good condition.
Coco can be a little shy but once she knows you she is a very loving little cat.
She could live with children of primary school age who are used to cats and are gentle and calm around them.
Gomez
Gender - Male
Age - Three to six months old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

If you want to adopt Gomez you can view their full profile here.
Gomez came into the care of the RSPCA after being found abandoned and is looking to find a new home.

Cassie
Gender - Female
Age - 14 years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Tortoiseshell
If you want to adopt Cassie you can view their full profile here.
Cassie is an older cat who is looking to find a nice quiet home to spend her days in.
She can be shy when meeting new people and she may benefit from a quiet room to call her own when she first moves into a new place.
Cassie isn't keen on being picked up and prefers to come over to you, but overall does like company.
She could live with older teens who are calm and gentle around cats and would need to be the only pet in the home.
