EMERGENCY services were called to an address in Broadstone following a report of a man in possession of a knife and requiring medical attention.
At 12.16pm on Wednesday November 20 Dorset Police received report from the ambulance service of a man requiring medical attention at an address in Springdale Road in Poole.
A resident reported seeing armed police and an ambulance at the scene.
It was further reported that the man was in possession of a knife.
Officers attended to assist, and no offences were disclosed. The man was left in the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 12:03hrs on Wednesday, November 20 to an incident in Broadstone.
“We sent one double-crewed ambulance to the scene.”
