RECORDS have been broken for the highest ever sale price of a single site in Poole.
Poole-based developer Fortitudo has sold a premium waterside piece of land in Pearce Avenue, Lilliput, for just under £16million.
The land has “unparalleled” views and access to Poole Harbour.
Chief executive Richard Carr said: “The successful sale of this unique site reflects the outstanding appeal of our developments and the strength of our reputation in delivering exclusive and highly desirable properties."
A statement from Fortitudo added: “This exceptional sale underscores Fortitudo's commitment to creating valuable, high-end property opportunities and demonstrates the continued demand for prime waterside developments in the region.
“The record-setting sale further cements Fortitudo's position as a leader in premium real estate, particularly along the south coast.”
Fortitudo is responsible for several luxury houses and apartments around Poole, including in Sandbanks Road, Dorset Lake Avenue and Salterns Way.
It has recently tapped into the student accommodation market, with plans to build a new luxury block in Hinton Road, Bournemouth town centre, and behind Cameo night club.
