THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

MICHAEL LEGG, 40 and of Milne Road in Poole, admitted to criminal damage of a Volkswagen Touran to the value of £1314.70, in Chesil Gardens, Poole, on February 2. Legg was given a community order until November 25, 2025 and pay compensation of £1314.70.

JON DAVIES, 50 and of The Hawthorns in Christchurch, admitted to sending communication of an indecent or offensive nature on Facebook Messenger in Christchurch between March 6 and March 9. Davies was fined £80, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £32.

STEVEN BUNYAN, 35 and of Clarendon Road in Bournemouth, admitted to assault by beating of a woman in Christchurch on July 15. Bunyan was conditionally discharged for 18 months, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £26.

STEPHEN CLARKE, 40 and of Glen Road in Bournemouth admitted to theft from a motor vehicle, namely food powder of an unknown value, on St Peter’s Road in Bournemouth on July 30. Clarke was conditionally discharged for six months and ordered to pay £6 in compensation.

MATTHEW BURKE, 41 and of no fixed abode, admitted to four counts of fraud by false representation on July 1 in Castle New Food & Wine, Bournemouth, One Stop Convenience Store, Christchurch, and Tesco, Christchurch. Namely card transactions of £17.49, £20 and £31.50. He also admitted to theft of an iPhone 13 pro and a bank card on Charminster Road in Bournemouth. Burke was ordered to pay £892.99 in compensation and handed a restraining order against the victim.

JOSHUA ST JOHN-MOSSE, 30 and of Seamoor Road in Bournemouth, admitted to driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above the limit, namely 40 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, on Seamoor Road on November 6. John-Mosse was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £333, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £133.

LORNE CORRIE, 38 and of Pear Close in Poole, admitted to driving a vehicle with a controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Benzoylecgonine in blood not less than 139 ug/L, at McDonald’s Restaurant on Ringwood Road in Ferndown on July 7. Corrie was disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £600, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £240.

STEPHEN JOUAN, 54 and of Bell Inn Yard in Blandford Forum, admitted to assault by beating of a woman at Dorset Street in Blandford Forum on July 7. Jouan was handed a community order until November 25, 2025, ordered to complete 25 activity requirement days and pay £100 in compensation.

AMY CHEESEMAN, 45 and of no fixed abode, admitted to burglary with intent to steal on Buxton Road, Weymouth, between February 3 and March 2. Cheeseman was jailed for four months “because the defendant has a flagrant disregard for people and their property”. Cheeseman was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs.
