DETECTIVES investigating the murder of 21-year-old Reece James Menzie say they have had a ‘disappointing response’ from the public.
The incident happened at around 2.15am on Wednesday, July 25 when three intruders entered the victim’s flat on the junction of Sea Road and Roumelia Lane and shot him.
Police have appealed to members of the public for in catching Reece’s killers.
Det Chief Insp Kevin Connolly, of Bournemouth’s Major Crime Team said: “Unfortunately we have had a disappointing response from people in the area so far.
“It is now ten days since the murder and we are still trying to piece together what happened.”
Three men were seen to run from Roumelia Lane into Sea Road in the direction of the sea.
“All three men were wearing dark coloured hooded tops and at least one was wearing a balaclava.
