DETECTIVES hunting brutal killers who shot a man in the face in Bournemouth have made several arrests in early morning raids in London.
Warrants were executed at a number of addresses which are now being examined by forensic specialists.
Dorset Police officers were assisted by officers from Operation Trident in London, set up to tackle gun and drugs crime, and by other Metropolitan Police officers.
Reece James Menzies, 21, died in a flat in Roumelia Lane, Boscombe at around 2.15am on Wednesday July 25.
Officers yesterday released details of a vehicle believed to have been used by the killers .
Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Connolly of the Dorset Police Major Crime Investigation Team said the arrests are the result of recent media appeals and inquiries.
But he urged members of the public with information to continue to come forward and stressed all calls will be treated in confidence.
