A MAN stole vegan sausage rolls and a safe from a Hampshire cafe.
Robert James Boyt raided the Lemana Cafe in Lymington High Street.
The 32-year-old made off with four vegan sausage rolls, a safe containing staff tips and cash, and an Ipad.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court he was charged with burglary to which he indicated a plea of guilty.
Boyt, of no fixed address, was jailed for six weeks for the offence which happened on June 5 this year.
According to court documents, the offence was so serious because he offended within days of being released from a custodial sentence and had been on licence.
