IT IS the last weekend of June, but does that mean it will be warm enough for a barbecue?
The weather this month has been particularly hit or miss, with some gloriously sunny spells and equally bleak downpours.
Unfortunately the outlook for the weekend doesn't seem to be picking up, with temperatures remaining below average.

Today the Met Office predicts bouts of rain for much of the day but thankfully things are looking drier in the afternoon.
Local forecaster Bournemouth and Poole Weather said: "Well it’s not all good news as parts of England and Wales come under the influence of a weak upper level trough.
"This small feature has been causing chaos in pinning down forecasts for parts of the UK over the next five to six days however for the weekend it looks like Saturday will be the best day, mainly dry and feeling quite humid with temperatures in the low 20’s (a few showers can’t be ruled out).
"Sunday unfortunately at this stage has the potential to be a complete washout, rain moving up from the south and moving very slowing over our patch. While not 100 per cent certain it’s clearly never going to warm with these conditions nearby, temperatures may only struggle to 16-17C at best.
"Into next week unfortunately more plenty more rain, cloud and cool temperatures. It’s not likely to settle down until Thursday at the earliest."
Here’s the Met Office forecast for Saturday and Sunday:
Saturday
7am – cloudy, 14C
10am – sunny intervals, 15C
1pm – sunny intervals, 16C
4pm – cloudy, 15C
7pm – cloudy, 15C

Looking at Saturday the Met Office said: “Today the Met Office predicts bouts rain for much of the day but thankfully things are looking drier and sunnier into the afternoon."
For Sunday and into the start of next week the Met Office said: "Cloudy with morning rain and later showers on Sunday as winds strengthen. Wet and breezy on Monday with some heavy bursts of rain. Largely bright and dry on Tuesday."
