Great British Bake Off (GBBO) returned for the third episode of the 2021 series last week with one baker winning the star baker accolade and another leaving the show.
Each week amateur bakers take part in cake challenges where they attempt to pull off signature, technical and showstopper bakes.
Every episode is a combination of a baking week and last week’s episode showed the bakers taking on bread week.
Who left Great British Bake Off last week?
Unfortunately, another episode of GBBO meant another contestant had to leave.
This time it was Rochica’s turn to say goodbye to the Bake Off tent.
The 27-year-old junior HR business partner from Birmingham will not take part in any further challenges.
The programme’s Twitter account tweeted a letter from Rochica, writing: “This experience has shown me that I shouldn’t doubt my abilities as much as I do” Quite right, Rochica! Here’s her lovely letter to all you Bake Off fans. #GBBO”

What is this week’s theme on Great British Bake Off?
This week the amateur bakers will take on baking challenges such as the pavlovian signature, a sticky toffee technical and a multi-layered jaconde showstopper.
If you hadn’t guessed already, this week’s episode is dessert week.
Great British Bake Off will continue to air on Channel 4 on Tuesdays at 8pm.
