Each year around Christmas time broadcasters starts to release special festive editions of hit shows.
The specials have become a part of many family traditions, after a big meal there's nothing better than sitting down and watching tv.
With some of the biggest shows appearing on our screens each year, from Doctor Who to Strictly Come Dancing.
We've broken down which shows have been confirmed for a festive special.
Doctor Who (BBC)
Release date: January 1 2022
With the latest series of Doctor Who already on TV the Christmas special has been confirmed with three episodes marking the end of Jodie Whittaker's time as the time lord.
Call The Midwife (BBC)
Release date: December 25
This family show is back for Christmas again with familiar faces returning including Miriam Margolyes's.
Plus, the new series will air from January 11, 2022.
Strictly Come Dancing (BBC)
Release date: December 25
Every year Strictly takes the floor on Christmas day welcoming back famous faces from years gone by and it will be back on our screens again.
Ghosts (BBC)
This cult hit comedy show follows from its third series that aired over the summer and will have all the ghosts appearing.
Although a release date has yet to be announced it is expected on either Christmas eve or day.
The Larkins (ITV)
The ITV reboot was announced to be having a Christmas special when star Bradley Walsh announced filing was underway in Kent.
A date has yet to be confirmed for the special.
Mrs Brown's Boys (BBC)
This hit comedy will be returning once again for a Christmas Special with creator and star Brendan O'Carroll leading the gang.
The release date has not been announced yet but is expected on Boxing day.
