A decade has passed since Lorraine Kelly was injured in a terrifying accident during a charity horse ride.
During her show on ITV this morning it showed the emotional 62-year-old facing her fears and getting back in the saddle.
For help and guidance, the presenter paid a visit to 14-times Paralympic Games gold medallist, Sir Lee Pearson.
At the start of the film, Lorraine goes back to the hospital who treated her after the fall in 2012. She said: "After my accident I received life saving care at St George's Hospital in London and it's thanks to the amazing staff who treated me that I'm still here today."
Feeling, in her own words, “a wee bit anxious”, Lee provided Lorraine with a rather large but very calm and "beautifully well behaved" steed, Zion, who with trepidation, shaking legs, and tear in her eyes, she eventually did mount.
The presented achieved several laps of the enclosure, taking tips from Lee as they went, before dismounting – a feat they were both very proud of.
"It was very emotional,” Lee said. “I don’t know how much emotion you can get across on television. She stayed on Zion's back a lot longer than I expected and what more could you ask for?"
Lorraine said: "I have to say, that was really much more emotional than I thought it would be, but I couldn't have done it with anybody else apart from Sir Lee. He is just brilliant, given me such confidence, and that beautiful, beautiful horse."
Choking back more tears, she added: “I'm not going to feel frightened anymore, I'm not, I'm not. And that's a huge, big deal for me.”
