Channel 5's latest drama Cold Call follows the story of June Clarke after she falls victim to a cold call fraud that threatens to destroy her life.

Set in Machester, the dark thriller focuses on single mother June, a care worker with a pregnant daughter and an ageing mum.

At a time when she has plenty going on in her life, she gets a call, seemingly from her bank, over fraud concerns on her account.

Believing the call to be from her bank, June loses all the money from the sale of her house to fraudsters and sees her life tumble into chaos.

Hoping to overcome the incident, June attends a support group for victims of scams where she meets her old school friend Des Grigsby.

Des persuades her to take a job caring for the mother of businessman Kirk Wiley who is believed to have been involved in the criminal enterprise that targeted both of them.

Together, the pair attempt to expose the businessman they believe is at the centre of the scam.

Cold Call stars former Coronation Street star Sally Linsday in the lead role, Lindsay is best known for starring in The Madame Blance Mysteries, Mount Pleasant and recently starred in the Channel 5 drama Love Rat.

Alongside Linsday, Daniel Ryan plays Des who also appeared in Mount Pleasant with Lindsay as well as The Bay, Crossfire and ITV drama Passenger.

How to watch the Channel 5 drama Cold Call

Cold Call was previously shown on Channel 5 back in 2019 and will re-air over four consecutive nights in the coming days.

The show will first air on Monday, June 17 at 9pm on Channel 5 and will air at the same time each night until Thursday, June 20.

Viewers can also watch Cold Call on Channel 5's streaming service, My5.
