DORSET star Georgia Hall completed a stop-start week at the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana tied 10th.
The Wimborne-based professional posted a final-round one-over-par 72 to finish 11 shots behind winner Anne van Dam.
Hall earned €4,500 for her efforts at La Quinta Golf & Country Club.
The 22-year-old started the final day with six holes left to complete in her third round and she dropped away from the leaders with bogeys on 14 and 15.
She ended her worst round of the week – a two-over-par 73 – on a positive note by holing a birdie on the par-four 18th.
Three bogeys in the opening four holes of Hall's final round scuppered her title hopes.
The Women's British Open champion responded with back-to-back birdies on five and six.
Her recovery continued with two further birdies on the back nine before two dropped strokes in the final three holes dropped Hall slip out of the top six.
The Solheim Cup star mainly played on the LPGA tour in America this season, but she claimed the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit title after the final tournament of the season came to a close.
Hall has become the youngest player in history to top the calendar year rankings twice, doing so in consecutive seasons.
