GEORGIA Hall's campaign at the Women's Australian Open is over after an expensive second round at The Grange Golf Club.
Wimborne-based Hall shot 79 and missed the cut by a shot on four over par.
The Women's British Open champion had started the day on three under and kicked off with a birdie. But two bogeys and a triple-bogey eight at the fifth saw her plummet down the leaderboard.
Four further bogeys followed and although Hall pulled a shot back on 18, she narrowly missed out on progress.
Meanwhile, Hall's compatriot Jodi Ewart Shadoff slipped four shots off the lead.
Shadoff had shared top spot with Taiwan's Wei-Ling Hsu following a flawless 65 but could only manage a 73 in round two to post a halfway total of six under.
Hsu added a 69 to her opening 65 to move to 10 under and share top spot with Sweden's Madelene Sagstrom, who carded five birdies in a second consecutive 67.
