JAMIE Beasley struck twice as high-flying Hamworthy United continued their impressive Wessex Premier start with a 4-2 victory at home to Alresford.
Former Weymouth and Portland man Beasley led the charge for the Hammers at the County Ground to complete their sixth win in seven league games this campaign.
Dan Cann and Lee Francis were also on target for Tim Sills’s side.
Elsewhere in the division, goals from Will Fletcher, Max Wilcock and Ash Pope gave Christchurch a 3-0 success at Amesbury Town.
Bashley came from behind with two goals in the final five minutes to overcome Hamble. Harry Morgan scored twice and Cameron Beard was on target to earn Bash a 3-2 success.
Owen Fee and Tim Stephenson scored in Lymington’s 2-0 home win over AFC Portchester, while Ethan Fishlock’s goal earned Poppies a point in a 1-1 draw against Fleet Town.
Brockenhurst fell to a 6-1 defeat at Fareham.
In Wessex One, Shaun Prentice and Adam Riley struck to give gave Ringwood Town a 2-1 victory at United Services Portsmouth.
Matt Vining’s double paved the way for Verwood to seal a 2-1 home success against Downton. New Milton Town were beaten 3-1 away at Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
