GOALS from Boreham Wood’s Jamal Fyfield and Kabongo Tshimanga meant Wimborne Town bowed out of this season’s FA Cup.
A string of saves from teenage stopper Billy Terrell, on loan from Cherries, could not stop James Stokoe’s men succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at Meadow Park.
The young keeper had helped keep Magpies in the hunt with the scores goalless at the interval – before Fyfield struck on the hour mark, following up Tshimanga’s effort on the rebound.
A point-blank save denied Wimborne’s Jack Lovell from making it 1-1 with 15 minutes remaining.
But, having also hit the crossbar, Tshimanga struck for the hosts late on to ensure their place in the first round proper.
