POOLE racer Sam Bird leads the Formula E World Championship standings after another triumph in New York City.
Bird arrived in The Big Apple having already won twice on the circuit previously.
And he repeated the feat again, becoming the first driver to pick up three wins on the same track in the electric car competition.
The victory was made all the more impressive considering Bird crashed out during his opening practice round.
It proved to be a dominant win for the 34-year-old, leading from start to finish in Brooklyn.
In quotes reported by am New York, Bird said: "It’s about bouncebackability.
"Just never giving up, always believing in yourself and the equipment underneath you. We did that absolutely perfect.”
The Jaguar Racing star heads back to the UK for races at the ExCel Centre in London on the weekend of July 24.
