BERKSHIRE 301 & 207-8 lead DORSET 86 & 38-0 by 384 runs
DORSET subsided to 86 all out as Berkshire took control of their NCCA Championship Western Division One clash at Finchampstead.
Dorset, unbeaten in their previous two games, lost eight wickets for 17 runs in their first innings to hand Berkshire a 215-run lead.
Away skipper Luke Webb (38) and Alex Eckland (19) resumed after day one on 31-2 and built to 69-2 before disaster struck.
The duo fell in quick succession to Euan Woods (4-16) as Berkshire twisted the knife, Chris Peploe then taking a staggering 4-8 from 14 overs to end Dorset's misery.
Berkshire, the reigning three-day champions, stretched their legs in a positive second innings.
